Join us next week for our monthly VR/XR meetup as we jump into various social VR apps. There are quite a number of different kinds of social VR apps including:

Social VR: Pure social focused apps such as VRChat, AltspaceVR, NeosVR, RecRoom, Mozilla Hubs or Bigscreen.

VR Events: For the more adventurous, in WaveVR you can watch a live concert, DJ or record release party. Last month REZZ’s “Beyond the Senses” EP release party in WaveVR was attended by 75,000 fans. Other live event VR apps include Sansar and NextVR/Live Nation.

VR for Business: There are a number of business/education focused apps such as Rumii VR or AltspaceVR.

We will have HDMs setup for you to try some of these apps so you can see for yourself which ones you like. Meeting another person in VR is very different than single user experiences.
